Schnauzer

one of a German breed of sturdy medium-sized dogs having a tight, wiry, pepper-and-salt or pure black coat, bristly eyebrows and beard-like whiskers, and a docked tail, used originally as a ratter and a guard dog and later used in police work.

Utopia

Schnauzertopia.com was created in March 2007 as a way of bringing Schnauzer fans together in a community way. We own a miniature Schnauzer named Rumble and love meeting other Schnauzer owners and fans.

This is a community, run by community rules. Voting is done by majority, rules enacted by committee and enforced by a team of volunteers. Everyone who is willing to follow simple rules based on kindness, sharing and caring is welcome in our community.

As to the dogs themselves, we hold no dog to any standard. Whether they're purebred or "have some Schnauzer in there somewhere" they are welcome here. No matter if their ears are cropped or not, what color they are, what size they are. We treat people the same way. It doesn't matter who you, what you look like or what you do elsewhere, you are welcome here.
